Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her help and motivation to improving South African Social Security Company (SASSA) expert services all through an engagement using the company's senior supervisors at a strategic organizing session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the many social grant beneficiaries, who excelled during the 2024 matric final exams.
In the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for the National Senior Certificate (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing 81% with the registered pupils from the schooling sector.
These learners accomplished a commendable pass rate of 86%.
